Attachment is the emotional bond between the child and the parent. To appreciate the long term implications of positive attachment it is important to understand the different types of attachment, how they develop and the impact of this bond on young children’s development.
The focus of the workshop will be on:
Understanding the role of attachment, bonding and self-esteem in promoting positive infant mental health and well-being
How to promote positive interactions between parent and child
