Routines are how families organise themselves to get things done, spend time together and have fun. Every family has its own unique routines. Routines help family members know who should do what, when, in what order and how often.
In this workshop, participants will gain an understanding that:
Routines and structure provide a mutual understanding of the expectations from both parent and child; thus reducing power struggles.
Good routines and structure provide positive interactions between parent and child
There is a need for routines to ensure chiodlren have a sense of securiy and to help them to develop self discipline.
