Autumn Activity Fair

3:00pm - 5:00pm, Dairy Farm Shopping Centre, Twinbrook.

Come along and take part in a whole fair of creative family activities including pumpkin carving, face painting, petting farm, arts and clay crafts, bun decorating, story time,in the Colin Glen library. Grab your parents and grandparents and create a family memory in our free photo booth. Free entry!

Ghouls & Gruffalo’s Welly Walk 

Join us on Saturday 27th October – Fri 2nd November for the Ghouls & Gruffalo’s Welly Walk. Enjoy a story telling session of the bestselling Children’s Book before meandering through the forest on a guided forest walk from our energetic staff. Try and find the Ghosts & Ghouls en route! On return to the forest park gruffalo minbuilding you can pick your own pumpkin from our Pumpkin Patch and carve it into your own lantern to use for Halloween. On departure collect your “I have met the Gruffalo Certificate’ & Sticker”. Children £10pp, accompanying Adults & under 2’s FREE. Booking Slots are available at 10am & 2pm. Autumn Discovery Evening

4:00pm - 7:00pm, Colin Allotments site, 30 Colin Glen Road, Poleglass.

Gather the family for an Autumn Bat Walk using bat detectors and torches. Meet a variety of native animals including barn owls, foxes, and rescue hedgehogs. Build your own bat box and decorate with Halloween themed, create your own dream-catcher and listen to our Halloween storyteller. £3 per family (2 adults, 2 kids).

A Colin Sure Start Halloween-themed activity morning for children aged 0-4 and their parents, grandparents or carers with lots to do and see! Halloween arts and crafts, lantern making, spooky baking and biscuit decorating, sensory play areas, our (not too spooky) Halloween tent, face painting and much more! There will be a small snack of fruit and water provided, and there will also be a theatre show at the end for children and parents/carers to enjoy! Please be mindful that the activities will be aimed specifically at children aged 0-4. Colin Halloween Parade and Family Fright Night

Gather the kids for a spook-tacular night of frightening family fun at Colin Neighbourhood Partnership’s annual Halloween Parade and Family Fright Night!

Our annual Halloween parade will leave from Laurel Glen car park and make its way up the Stewartstown Road to Cloona House. Here you will find the grounds of Cloona House transformed into a spooky world for our Family Fright Night event. Dare to enter the bone-chilling Halloween Hell Hotel which will have you jumping out of your skin! With carnival rides, fire breathers, spooky storytelling, arts and craft workshops, food stalls, terrifying walkabout characters and dinosaurs, plus much more, an unforgettable night of family fun is guaranteed!

Parade leaves Laurel Glen car park on Stewartstown Road at 6.45pm and makes its way to Cloona House, Poleglass. Gates to Family Fright Night event open at 7.00pm. Participants in the parade get priority entry.

Cost: £3 per Adult, £2 per child. Family ticket £7, (2 adults 2 children), kids under 4 go free.

Fancy dress encouraged! Please note there is no car parking available at Cloona House.
