Colin Glen trust, has an ever increasing product and service range, consisting of the Colin Valley Golf Complex, Colin Glen Forest Park and the recently opened Woodland Café based within the Forest Park Centre. The Trust heavily relies upon the work of volunteers lead by a team of highly qualified park Rangers in the conservation of the park and woodlands located on the Belfast/Lisburn boarder. Emphasis within the Trust is held on the importance of education within environmental and scientific issues with the Trust conducting education programmes designed to meet with school syllabus requirements on both a primary and secondary level.
This scheme has been recognised through its quality teaching, and just recently received confirmation of endorsement from CEA (Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment). This endorsement is the first within the West and South Belfast areas to be awarded, for which the Trust are proud to receive.
The Colin Glen Trust is a commercially viable cross-community organisation committed to the development and management of the Colin River Valley from its source to the Lagan benefiting the community through;
