On Wednesday 22nd November a number of local community groups and volunteers will be participating in a sponsored “Spinathon” to raise funds for this year’s Christmas Hamper appeal. The plan is to keep the wheels on the bikes spinning for 8 hours.
Last Christmas, Good Morning Colin (GMC) distributed over 200 hampers to seniors and vulnerable residents in the Colin area. Hopefully, with your support, we can raise enough money to buy, make and deliver Christmas hampers to the most vulnerable members of our community.
The Spinathon will run from 12:00pm until 8:00pm and will take place in Sally Gardens Community Centre, Poleglass. A number of community groups and agencies are taking part and you can sponsor them in a number of ways:

1pm - 2pm: Good Morning Colin staff
2pm - 3pm: Colin Care staff
3pm - 4pm: Sally Gardens staff
4pm - 5pm: Colin Neighbourhood Partnership staff
5pm - 6pm: Colin Safer Neighbourhood Project
6pm - 7pm: Local councillors and Glenbawn 'Spin Mums' group
7pm - 8pm: Colin Youth from Saints Youth Club and other individuals
