The “Frame It” recycled easel project, part of of Féile an Phobail Community Engagement Programme and supported by Belfast City Council Community Development Project Grant was launched last night in the Ulster Museum, Belfast.
Colin Area Men's Shed used scrap wood and other materials to create their own very unique and personal easels. The easels are now showcasing artwork from young people from Youth Justice who had worked with artists to create their very own masterpieces inspired by museum collections. The exhibition forms part of the Connect Collect Create project by National Museums NI that works in partnership with a range of organisations to deliver positive outcomes for people and communities.
